Hylobates hoolock

  Habitat: original tropical forests or secondary tropical forests.

  Feeding habits: pick up young leaves, fruits or catch small animals with hands.

  Food: young leaves of vegetations, fruits, insects and small birds.

  Size: with a body length of 45-58 cm.

  Habits: similar with black gibbons.

  Category: mammalia, primates, gibbon.

  Distribution: Southwest Yunnan.

  Level of protection: class I key state protection animal of China.
