Emperor Kangxi's (Qing Dynasty) Instructions on Earthquakes

  On July 12, 1720, (59th year of Emperor Kangxi) an earthquake happened in Huailai and Shacheng of Hebei Province.

  The city walls of Shacheng undercut a lot. Many houses were collapsed.
